Three Betta Aquarium Essentials in One Pack

Setting up a healthy Betta aquarium involves more than simply filling a tank with tap water and adding your fish.

Tap water needs to be conditioned, the aquarium needs an established biological filter and your Betta needs an appropriate everyday diet.

The Pisces Betta Starter Pack combines products for each of these jobs into one convenient pack.

Pisces Complete Water Conditioner 100ml

Pisces Complete Water Conditioner is designed to make tap water safer for aquarium use.

According to Pisces, Complete removes chlorine and heavy metals from tap water and converts ammonia into a safer, non-toxic form.

Use it when initially filling your Betta aquarium and whenever untreated tap water is added during regular water changes.

Pisces Establish 100ml

Pisces Establish contains beneficial bacteria designed to support the biological processes that help maintain a healthy aquarium.

The biological filter is responsible for processing harmful nitrogenous waste produced by fish, uneaten food and other organic material.

Establish can be used when setting up a new Betta aquarium or when supporting the biological filtration in an existing aquarium.

Pisces Betta Pellets 30g

Pisces Betta Pellets provide a complete everyday food formulated for Betta fish.

The formula is made with premium ingredients and contains added multivitamins, trace elements, probiotics and amino acids.

Feed small amounts appropriate for your fish rather than allowing uneaten pellets to accumulate in the aquarium.

Ideal for New Betta Keepers

This starter pack is particularly useful for someone setting up their first Betta aquarium because it combines three products that are commonly required from the beginning.

It can also be useful when setting up an additional Betta tank or as part of an aquarium gift package.

Does This Pack Instantly Cycle a Betta Aquarium?

No. Pisces Establish is designed to support beneficial bacteria and biological filtration, but a new aquarium should still be monitored while the biological filter develops.

Testing ammonia and nitrite is particularly important when establishing a new aquarium.

Do not assume that adding bottled bacteria means the aquarium can automatically support unlimited livestock immediately. Always follow the product directions and monitor water quality.

Using the Pisces Betta Starter Pack

Always follow the individual dosing and feeding instructions supplied on each product.

A typical new Betta setup involves:

1. Setting up the aquarium, filter and heater.
2. Filling the aquarium with suitable water.
3. Treating tap water with Pisces Complete Water Conditioner according to the labelled dose.
4. Adding Pisces Establish according to the manufacturer's directions.
5. Allowing the aquarium's biological filtration to establish while monitoring water quality.
6. Introducing your Betta only when aquarium conditions are suitable.
7. Feeding Pisces Betta Pellets in small amounts appropriate for your fish.

What Else Does a Betta Aquarium Need?

The Pisces Betta Starter Pack provides water conditioner, beneficial bacteria and food. It does not include the aquarium equipment required to provide a complete Betta habitat.

A suitable Betta setup will normally also require:

• an appropriately sized aquarium
• a gentle aquarium filter
• an aquarium heater where required to maintain a suitable temperature
• a thermometer
• water testing equipment
• suitable décor and hiding places
• live or artificial plants with Betta-safe surfaces

Bettas are tropical fish and require warm, stable water. Choose filtration with gentle water movement because their long fins can make very strong currents difficult to navigate.
