Anubias Medium

Anubias barteri , also known as Anubius or Anubias barteri, is a hardy plant that has lush green arrow shaped foliage. This rosette plant may reach up to 40cm in width and has thick, creeping rhizomes. This variety of Anubias barteri is an amphibious form that will survive either totally or partially submersed.

Anubias is a genus of aquatic and semi-aquatic flowering plants in the family Araceae, native to tropical central and western Africa. They primarily grow in rivers and streams, but can also be found in marshes. They are characterized by broad, thick, dark leaves that come in many different forms.  They are a very hardy plant which can be easily propagated although they are slow growers.
