SEACHEM FLOURISH EXCEL 500ml

Seachem Flourish Excel 500mL is a convenient liquid carbon source for freshwater planted aquariums, supplying bioavailable organic carbon that plants can utilise for photosynthesis and growth. It’s suitable for use on its own (as a CO₂ alternative in low-tech tanks) or in conjunction with CO₂ injection, especially helpful in setups where pushing more CO₂ could drive pH too low. Flourish Excel also has iron-reducing properties that promote iron in the ferrous form (Fe2+), which plants can utilise more readily than ferric iron (Fe3+). It contains no phosphate or nitrate, making it easy to integrate into an existing fertiliser routine.

Directions (label-style)

Initial dose or after a major (>40%) water change: 5 mL per 40 L.​
Maintenance: 5 mL per 200 L daily or every other day; dosing may be increased slowly in high-growth aquariums.​
