AQUASONIC METHYLENE BLUE 1L

When fish suffer stress their immune system is affected and can lead to white spot and or superficial Fungal invections.  Also if you are hatching your own fish eggs, fungus can destroy them.  To aid in prevention methylene blue can help.

Methylene Blue is effective against superficial fungal infections of fish. The drug may be used as an alternative to Malachite Green for the control of fungus when it is known that the fish to be treated are sensitive. Methylene Blue is safe for use with fish eggs and fry for the prevention of fungal infections.

Directions for use:
NOT TO BE USED ON FISH INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
Ensure aquarium water is well aerated for the duration of the treatment.
Activated carbon should be removed from filtration system for the duration of treatment. Activated carbon will remove this product from aquarium water resulting in ineffective treatment.
This product contains a dye which will stain if spilled.

  • 1 x 1l Aquasonic Methylene Blue White Spot Treatment
  • Treatment for White Spot and Fungus prevention on most Fish

  • Dosage:
    Use 5mL per 20L of aquarium water
    For tetra species, baby fish and scaleless fish (loaches, etc), use a reduced dosage of 5mL per 40L of aquarium water.
    Repeat dosage after 3 days. DO NOT OVERDOSE.
