GENUINE UV SLEEVE PLASTIC PROTECTOR
To protect the quartz sleeve the Biopro is equipped with a black plastic sleeve. This sleeve will also create a swirling effect along the Quartz sleeve. This brings the water in longer contact with the UV light, making it more effective.
As with the UV bulb the black sleeve will need replacing every 12-15 months to keep your canister working to its highest standard.
