CLOWN LOACH - 5-7CM

The clown loach  Chromobotia Macracanthus, is a tropical freshwater fish belonging to the botiid loach family. It is the sole member of the Chromobotia genus. It originates in inland waters in Indonesia on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo. It is a popular fish in the freshwater aquariums and will fit in with just about any water conditions. Clown loaches are well know for their ability to keep snail population in the aquarium under control. Their strong beak like mouth is used to suck the soft snail from its shell for a tasty treat. Clown loaches are best kept in small groups of 4 or more.
